Falconer Central School District

Falconer Central School – Phase 1 (March 2019 – October 2019), was a capital improvement project that consisted of a new turf field with new drainage system, new running track, new concrete patio at the concession stand and new concrete sidewalk along with new parking lot configuration at Fenner Elementary School.

Seneca Nation of Indians Department of Transportation

Pennsy Trails (July 2019 – October 2019), was a capital improvement project that consisted of the installation of 2.2 miles of walk way on the old Pennsy Railroad Grade. Work included fine grading existing railroad bed, ADA crossing, removable bollard installation, and crosswalk striping.

Frewsburg Central School District

Frewsburg Central School District Additions & Alterations (October 2018 – September 2019), was a capital improvement project that consisted of new concrete sidewalks and asphalt at High School bus loop; new waterline, septic system and drainage at the bus garage addition; and new tennis courts at Frewsburg Elementary School.

New York State Department of Transportation

D262892 NYSDOT Culvert Replacement and Rehabilitation consisted of rehabbing four existing culverts located on Route 98 from Great Valley to Franklinville. The rehabs ranged from repairing of spalled concrete to lining of existing culvert with 54” CMP. There were also three complete box culvert replacements. The first was on Route 353 in the Town of New Albion and the other two were on Route 98 in the Town of Franklinville. The new box culverts had to be done in two phases keeping the flow of traffic at all times.

Chautauqua County Airport

Jamestown Airport Rehabilitation of Runway 7-25 Runway consisted of profile milling the existing Runway 7-25 and re-paving with two lifts of asphalt. The first lift was a 2 ½” trueing and leveling course and the second was a 2½”surface course. Additionally, the intersection of Runway 7-25 and Runway 13-31 was reconstructed by removing all the asphalt and over 2’ of existing ground. Three feet of new subbase was installed, fine graded and paved. During the paving process, Lake Shore Paving exceeded both the mat and joint compaction requirements. After all paving was completed, mat smoothness was checked using a profilagraph. The smoothness measured 4.65 in/mile compared to the specification requirements of 15 in/mile. Lake Shore Paving received the 2022 Asphalt Pavement Showcase Award

Chautauqua Lake Central School District

The 2020 Capital Improvements Projects – Phase 2 consisted multiple projects on Chautauqua Lakes Campus. The first was a new turf football field which included all new drainage and subbase. A large set of stairs was constructed and led to a new track and field events area. The old tennis courts were demoed and new tennis courts with new drainage, subbase and fence was installed. At the playground area, the old playground was removed, the waterline was re-routed, new drainage installed and the area was re-graded for the installation of a new playground. The old front sign was removed and a new paver patio was installed to accommodate the new main sign to the building.

New York State Department of Transpiration

NYSDOT Mill and Pave in the Village Westfield and Cherry Creek project consisted of milling off 1.5” of existing asphalt and paving new wearing course at 1.5”. Length of project was about 1.5 Miles thru the Village of Westfield and 1.3 miles thru the Village of Cherry Creek. Existing handicap sidewalk ramps were removed and new ADA compliant handicap ramps were installed throughout both work areas.
